I just received an invite to Yaari, another social networking service from one of my business network contacts.
However, since I’m concentrating my casual social networks to Facebook, I’ve unsubscribed myself from Yaari database, so future invitations will not be delivered.
Yaari site design is very cheap, and it just seems another, “Oh again…” kinda site but by looking at member pictures, it seems popular among Indians.
On the other hand, I’m thinking of closing my Friendster and hi5 accounts.

Do not make the same mistake I did and sign up for Yaari. Upon registering, they sent an email (looked like it was from me) to EVERYONE in my address book inviting them to Yaari. This is after I un-checked the email addresses of everyone in my address book, indicating that I did NOT want the email to go out. They are in the business of phishing, and I encourage you to 1) not join and 2) make sure you spread the word. Unless you don’t mind Yaari hijacking your address book full of contacts you’ve worked so hard to develop.
Just my opinion based on my experience. Just Google “yaari” - you’ll see others have had the same experience.
But how to close the yaari account - I made a mistake all my bussiness contacts have got invitations to yaari so what do I do?
